Cash Mobs

In 2025, we cash mobbed 29 businesses and gave away $16,473 to local businesses.

The Community Cash Mob is a group of Bank employees who visit a local business on a selected day and time to shop local with money on us to shop local!

Some of our team members attended and saw students come together with their community and share what makes them unique. Members of the Shore United Bank team recently attended the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Banquet in recognition of the event’s commitment to leadership, service, and community impact. Attendees included Jerray Slocum, Damian Garcia, Chris Gentry, and Alan Hyatt, Chairman of Shore United Bank’s Board of Directors.

The banquet featured distinguished leaders, including Maryland Comptroller Brooke Lierman and Maryland Speaker of the House Joseline Peña‑Melnyk, the first Afro‑Latina and first immigrant to hold the role.
